Dad basically addicted to the computer?!?

Okay i honestly love my dad but he is very teratorial with his laptop. he is 45. Whenever my dad is home, well acually scratch that, hes hardly ever out of the house. I dont mean to be mean but he is lazy and kinda big. He even admits it. But anyway hes on the computer EVERY second. Some of it is for " work " but ALOT is games. He is literaly always on the computer. I sware, every minute. Whenever hes not on the computer, hes sleeping or eating, or food shopping. He watches tv and computer the same time. Im on the computer alot but not even close to how much hes on and he tells me to get off the computer, he says my brain will turn to mush! But hes always on!! One time when the verizon guy came to install the stuff, he told my dad that he will have to shut off the internet connection for a day because he had to get the right stuff. So my dad couldnt go on for a day. He seriously couldnt last a day without a computer, he plugged it in anyway!!! I know im his child and not his wife but cmon!! How do i get him to get off the computer for a while??
