I dont know if i was dreaming, or if this was real.?

I sware i was awake. I woke up, and walked to the kitchen to get a glass of water and i heard coyote howling at the other side of my house, then after that it seemed as if i blacked out and woke up in my room just about 20 minutes ago, then my sister walked in my room just a few minutes ago and said that her friend just got in a car reck and is heading up to the hospital. I feel really weird right now, i don't know whats going on, and am very confused.. It just seemed SO real. Is this just a coincidence. God i hope nothing severe has happened.
