For parents watching watching the Casey Anthony trial?

As a parent familiar with this case how difficult would it be for you if you had Very Strong suspicion's that your child had done something like this ? When I was in my twenties I had a friend ask me if he told me that he killed someone would I turn him in ? When I told him that I would, He said that I wasn't a very good friend. My answer to that was that my friends don't kill people! It would obviously be a much more difficult question if it were my child asking that question, what do you think you would do ?
