Should I take her to the vet?

My minature pincher got attacted my a big dog and her neck i swollen. i sware its huge and getting bigger. should we take her to the vet? my dad swares its a hematoma? something like that? and he says it will go down on its own. but to me it is just getting bigger. its about the size of a golf ball.
