When you see someone quote a bible verse OUTSIDE of R&S, are you compelled to immediately thumbs down them?

I just saw this in Marriage & Divorce and my immediate response was BOO! Does this happen to anyone else? I'm not an atheist or anything, I just really hate when people quote the bible when God is not the issue at hand. Yeah yeah, I know religious people think that EVERYTHING is about God but it's NOT.
