Is this harsh punishment?

So for no reason, my mom got onto my verizon account online and read all my texts. then when i came home she confronted me that they were innapropriate because the had a few sware words in them and i was talking about my crush to my best friend, and my phone is taken away for 2 weeks and when i get it back, my texting is taken away permantly. she also says that if my room is not clean when i go to school each day, then she will take away everything on the floor, even clothes and makeup and stuff. and everything else, like my skype, email, youtube, and even my diary (which i stopped writing in bcuz of her) she checks. this seems really harsh to me...is this normal?
